Service Description

Being a teen is hard. Being the parent of a teen is hard. Our kids are growing up in a world where everything can be found on a device in their hands, but ironically they are becoming less and less connected to the world around them. We offer a day together reconnecting and learning the important skills of reading body language, building trust and working together. Your teen will learn to read body language and mutual trust, while working with horses. Horses can't understand what we are speaking, but they are amazing at reading emotions and body language. This gives people the chance to see what it feels like to want the best for an animal, while the horse continues to refuse to be caught or work with them, unless the person can change their emotions and body language. Then we'll have a lunch break and finish the afternoon learning how to ground ourselves and control our emotions with a game and team building activity. Our goal is for you to learn together how to better understand one another and leave with some tools that you'll both refer to when you hit a rough spot.
